- Bulk Billing for Consultations: We bulk bill all standard consultations. This means that for Medicare card holders, there are no out-of-pocket expenses for general consultations. We directly bill Medicare for these services.
- Procedures with Out-of-Pocket Costs: While we strive to bulk bill most services, certain specialised procedures do attract a fee. These include:
Cryotherapy Treatments
- Viral warts
- Seborrheic keratosis
- Skin tags
- Actinic keratosis
- Bowen’s disease
- Basal cell carcinoma
- Squamous cell carcinoma
- Dermatofibroma
- Pyogenic granuloma
- Keratin horns
The fees for cryotherapy treatments are as follows:
- 1 session (15 minutes max): $90
- 2 sessions (30 minutes max): $170
- 3 sessions (45 minutes max): $250
Minor Surgical Procedures
- Biopsy (removal of tissue for diagnosis)
- Excisions (removal of skin lesions, cysts, lipomas and cancers)
- Drainage of abscesses
Fees for minor surgical procedures vary between $160 to $350, depending on the complexity and time required for the procedure.
